GENERAL INFORMATION

Pah-Nol Non-Toxic -60º Antifreeze is our fully inhibited Propylene Glycol formulated to ensure protection of potable water systems against both freezing and corrosion damage. This is the ideal product to use for winterizing dormant systems such as summer homes, boats, pools, and recreational vehicles. It does not exhibit the toxicity of Ethylene Glycol-solutions.

Pah-Nol Non-Toxic -60º Antifreeze prevents corrosion of metals and plastics (except Acetates) commonly used in such systems. It will not harm pumps or impellers.

Pah-Nol Non-Toxic -60º Antifreeze is ready to use, with superior burst protection down to -60ºF. It contracts as it gets colder thereby protecting pipes from bursting. Unlike products containing alcohol, it does not evaporate and is not flammable. Pah-Nol Non-Toxic -60º Antifreeze contains no alcohol and is biodegradable.

Pah-Nol Non-Toxic -60º Antifreeze is safe to use for winterizing inactive marine engines, dormant summer home plumbing, pools, and recreational vehicles (RV).

Pah-Nol Non-Toxic -60º Antifreeze can be used to winterize most dormant heat transfer systems. For active heat transfer systems, use our non-toxic Propylene Glycol based SAFE-T-THERM®. Our Ethylene Glycol based WINTREX® heat transfer fluids may also be used in active systems where toxicity is not a concern. Both are products manufactured in the tradition of highest quality for which Houghton Chemical Corporation is known.
